On 16 and 17 June 2010, the English preliminary
round took place at Birmingham City University (BCU). During five simulated business periods, 21 students from BCU and
Aston University controlled the fortunes of a copier manufacturer. In addition, the five teams faced creative tasks,
such as advertising campaigns and company presentations.
