On May 12 and 13, 2009, the second preliminary round of
the ebmc has taken place in the beautiful city of Nancy. At Institut Universitaire de Technologie Nancy-Charlemagne (IUT), Magdalena Weinle and Dr. Hartmut Rösch from Stuttgart Media University inducted 20 first year students into the mysteries of business management. This business simulation contest was truly international: French students, German trainers, seminar language was English.

In his opening address, the Director of IUT Herbert Néry pointed out that the students were given the opportunity to improve their basic management and English-language skills at the same time. He also noted that he would like to accompany the winning team to Stuttgart.
