Being boss can be fun. But in reality, it turns out to be a
tough and challenging job. On 15 and 16 September 2010, eleven students from the School of Business and Engineering Vaud (HEIG-VD) in Yverdon-les-Bains were given the opportunity to prove their management skills in the Swiss preliminary round of the European Business Masters Cup.
All students were well prepared and they got down to
business in a hurry, approaching the task of managing
three copier manufacturers in a professional manner. It was no surprise that the three teams finished even after the first three periods. In fact, it was a battle for market share at the highest level: All companies have embarked on a premium strategy.
