Faculty Print and Media:
The Faculty of Print and Media brings together courses of studies which deal primarily with printed media. It covers the entire production process from the design of products and all phases from manufacturing to distribution. The key aspect here is the continuous use of electronic media. The Faculty offers courses of studies for students whose interests tend towards more technical and more economic subjects. All courses of studies offered by the Faculty use the unique range of media of the HdM; the range of optional subjects in the courses of studies give students a completely free hand in pursuing their individual inclinations.

Faculty Electronic Media
Radio, television, film, DVD and the Internet are the media platforms combined in the Faculty of Electronic Media. The subjects taught include media technology, media economics, production and design of audiovisual media and the examination and development of contents for electronic media. The syllabuses in the individual courses of studies are closely interlinked. Students can use state-of-the-art laboratories and studios.

Master Courses
Faculty Information and Communication
In the Faculty of Information and Communication information and media specialists are
trained for jobs in industry and the public sector. Two master’s degrees are offered as post-graduate courses in "Library
and Information Management" and "Information Systems and Services".
All courses of studies in the Faculty have a modular structure and offer a wide range of
compulsory optional subjects so that students can focus on their particular interests.
