Open Virtual Classes during Summer Semester 2020 at HdM

As a result of the ongoing COVID-10 situation, HdM offers a range of open virtual classes during summer semester 2020. The classes are open to students of all study programs allowing them to earn 30 ECTS credits during summer semester 2020. Please note the following information on the virtual academic offers at HdM.

 

Participation

The virtual classes are open to HdM students and international students of all study programs. This includes:

·         students, who have been staying in Stuttgart throughout out the corona crisis

·         international students, who had to depart to their home country at an earlier stage due to the COVID-19 situation

·         students, who had to interrupt or shorten their their study or work experience abroad in order to return to Germany

·         students who couldstart their mobility experience abroad

 

Start of virtual classes

Unless other information is given, the virtual classes will start from April 20 onwards at HdM (postponed start of summer semester 2020).

 

Language of instruction

The classes will be taught in German or English. Information on English-taught modules can be found in the information section on the particular class.

 

Recognition of ECTS

For minor students:

Please contact your Minor-Coordinator if you want to take a course which is not part of your chosen minor program and keep in mind that you may have to update your learning agreement with your home university.

 

For non-minor students:

Die Form der Anrechnung ergibt sich aus den Prüfungsordnungen der Studiengänge und muss, sofern soweit nicht damit abgedeckt, mit den jeweiligen Studiendekanen besprochen werden. Neben Fremd-ECTS können manche Lehrveranstaltungen (z.B. #19 „Trendwatching“) ggf. über internationale Studienangebote importiert werden. Zudem kann eine Anerkennung erfolgen, wenn es im eigenen Studiengang eine vergleichbare Veranstaltung gibt.
