The HdM Language Centre offers language tests, which are recognized by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and other scholarship foundations (Erasmus) for applications abroad. A DAAD Language certificate might be needed to give evidence of your language proficiency when applying for studies and scholarships abroad.
The DAAD exam tests your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. All in all, it takes about 30 Minutes. It is intended to assess and classify your current level of language competence in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) between level A2 and C2. There aren’t accordingly any specific preparation courses. Still, it is recommended that students brush up their language skills by attending a language course or through self-study.

Please note: A fee of EUR 40 will be charged for each language test. The fee is due to be paid upon registration.
