Beschreibung: This lecture is designed to enable students to understand the interdisciplinary nature of mobile content design. It will focus on design-; business- and technological aspects and how those may influence a mobile ecosystem. At the same time it will enable students to read and successfully apply mobile design patterns. Critically questions the suitability of specific design patterns and learn how mobile design patterns relate to more general interaction design patterns. In addition students will learn how to design for more interactive reading experiences using the ePub3 standard.

GOALS
• Understanding Mobile Media state of the art mobile widgets and design patterns
• Appreciate the difference of mobile devices, device adaptation and differences of Native-, Web Apps as well as Mobile Web Sites.
• Basic understanding of interaction design for mobile content/devices
