Work load: 4 SWS / 5 ECTS. Assignment: PA. Content: Storytelling for and on social media with smart phones, in collaboration with Prof. Kristian Strøbech - Danish School of Journalism and Media / Techhytten, and with students and profs in the Global Pop-up Newsroom in over 14 world regions (India, UK, Durch, US, Australia, Lebanon, Nigeria, Kenya a.o.) @popupnewsroom (Twitter) Requirements: Open mind-set to work with mobile devices and social media, using personal accounts. Passion and interest in mobile communication and multimedia communication, real-time reporting and team work. And very good German and English language skills. Exam: Participation in the Global Pop-up Newsroom and in the “Scavenger Hunt” (“Schnitzeljagd”). Wir erarbeiten uns zeitgemäße Strategien, wie ein professionelles Profil und Selbstbranding mit Hilfe von Storytelling in Sozialen Medien funktioniert. Alle Teilnehmer/innen erstellen oder verbessern ihr professionelles Profil auf allen relevanten Social Media Plattformen. Alle Teilnehmer/innen erlernen geeignete multimediale und interaktive Real-time Storyformate für unterschiedliche Social Media Plattformen und den hands-on Umgang mit Apps und Tools. Damit erarbeiten Sie sich dann die Kenntnisse für Real-time (Echtzeit) Recherche, Verifizieren, Monitoring, multimediales Storytelling mit Mobile und auf Social Media Plattformen. Ihre Kenntnisse wenden Sie dann an, wenn Sie dann an um live- und in real-time im Global Pop-up Newsroom und während der "Scavenger Hunt" zu berichten, unter Einsatz von multimedialem Storytelling mit Ihrem Smartphone und in Echtzeit berichten. English Abstract: | We develop an understanding of self branding on social media and improve our professional social media profiles. We learn the basics of how to tell multimedia interactive stories across platforms in real-time with mobile devices. Participants work in teams as well as individually. |
