Students will learn how to design, complete, and assess information literacy teaching sessions. Topics that will be discussed in the seminar include: • Analyzing the information needs of a population• Developing learning objectives • Teaching and Learning theory • Instructional design • Content development • Assessment and evaluation Students will work together in pairs to design, market, teach, and evaluate a 1.5 hour information literacy workshop taught in English for students at the HdM who come from other countries or who wish to practice their English skills. After the workshops, students will submit a written reflection about their teaching experience and present their findings to the other students in the class. |
