Beschreibung: The course Economic Business Simulation is an interactive Learning Format driven by a Board Game Business Simulation Game, called SysTeamsBusiness.
The Business Game in charge is a simulation to the basics of Business Administration. In the simulation, the participants playfully learn to know the operational processes associated with Business Accounting. With the haptic simulation board the participants learn and "grasp" in teams business contexts (action learning). In the simulation board the operational processes of a manufacturing company from purchasing and production are mapped to sale. The simulation is designed with increasing complexity in periods. The complexity is embodied in economic scenarios of the periods and can be supplemented with ad-hoc reports. Participants are being supported in their entrepreneurial activities with an Action Program. Participants make group decisions in each period and affect the success or failure of their simulated enterprise.
Participants get to know the reports of Business Accounting displaying the results on the Simulation Board, as there are Inventory, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Financial Ratios, Cash Flow Statement, Cost Accounting and Contribution Margin Accounting. The Learning Transfer to a printing house is done each round trough de-conceptualizing by facilitator´s debriefing the group learning to the reality The assessment will be based on a Performance Calculation oft he Teams results, constituting 50% of the module grading, added by the 25% quality of the management planning and 25% oft he quality of the group´s final presentation.
The board game is particularly suitable as a didactic prerequisite exercise to complex computer-based Business Simulations, such as in the PMT-Module 115984 Strategic Management and Change
