Dr. Naoise Collins is the course coordinator of the new Game Design programme at IADT. In this talk, he’ll introduce the thinking behind the programme’s design, with a particular focus on its systems-led approach to game design education. Rather than presenting a finished model, this is an opportunity to share how IADT is framing the field and to open a conversation about what game design education can and should be, across institutions. The talk will also touch on IADT as a learning environment, and how its culture and context shape the programme. We hope this session sparks dialogue, invites critique, and offers a space to learn from one another.
