Design in Audiovisual Media

The Graphic Arts course is for students from the 3rd semester and up. Its target is to lay a solid base for aesthetic perception and to train basic skills in drawing and scribbling for the visualization of ideas for media prductions. Having successfully done this course, students are familiar with scribbling and rendering character designs and storyboards.

The Screen Design course is for students from 4th semester and up who preferably have successfully accomplished the Graphic Arts course. It is supposed to lead to creating layouts on screen for various media applications. Using all kinds of design elements, we work with various graphic programs and study the use and effect of essential design principles and conceptual targeting along special assignments, first in stills, later in moving images.

With a professional background in design for television and video production, my special attention goes to the video and television studio production. However, students can always call me for design consulting and to support their studio production concepts in all kinds of areas offered in the course of Audiovisual Media.
