Smartphone-based analysis of migration trends to identify human trafficker-routes (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF): Call “Civil security - migration questions”) Prof. Dr. Petra Grimm is responsible for the ethics by design and security ethics in the binational project between Germany and Austria Smart ID. The aim is to develop mobile systems to support police forces during their missions by analyzing migrant's smartphone data. HDM's work package is to evaluate the ethical conditions of the use of such a system.
