Digital Dialogue 21 ("Digitaldialog 21")
Duration of the project: May 2019 – April 2022
Digital Dialogue 21 (“Digitaldialog 21”) funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and The Arts (MWK BW), “Digital changes in society” funding stream). Prof. Dr. Petra Grimm brings the areas of value research and narrative ethics into the research project. Possible conflicts of values in the age of ever-increasing digitalisation are examined and linked with innovative approaches to shaping society. Digitalisation is already a significant narrative with which people associate certain ideas - both fears and hopes. The research will also provide insights into the skills that people need in face of the digital change. The final goal of the research project is the application-oriented development of a set of media-ethical tools for the promotion of digital literacy of citizens. From digital Digital Dialogue HDM will bring relevant experience to MIRATAR concerning the development of digital health literacy, narrative ethics by design and stakeholder participation.
