ELSI-SAT: Automated ELSI Screening- and Assessment Tool for HTI Research Projects
ELSI-SAT: Automated ELSI Screening- and Assessment Tool for HTI Research Projects (German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Call: “Proactive projects: Human-Technology Interaction”): The aim of the research project is to develop a (standardized) software that can be used as an ELSI screening and assessment tool. It is supposed to identify ethical, legal and social implications of innovative research projects in the context of human-technology interaction via a questionnaire. In addition, it explores, if appropriate, the extent to which project-specific mapping of ELSI competences is recommended for a project in the sense of the integrated approach, or if this can be done externally (e.g. by an ethics committee).
