Prof. Dr. Joachim Charzinski
Prof. Dr. Joachim Charzinski is professor of mobile networks and services and director of the Mobile Media degree programme at Stuttgart Media University, Germany. His main research interests are the performance measurement and modelling, reliability and security of mobile networks and systems as well as innovative business models for mobile services. He is member of several technical programme committes of national and international conferences, has authored numerous scientific papers and holds more than 30 patents. Before joining Stuttgart Media University, he was in the communication networks industry for 13 years where he held leading positions in research, innovations and architecture consulting. Prof. Charzinski received his Dr.-Ing. in electrical engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, in 1999.

Prof. Dr. Ansgar Gerlicher
Prof. Dr. Ansgar Gerlicher is the director of research in mobile applications & security at the Institute of Applied Science, Stuttgart Media University, Germany. Previously, he worked for several years as a software architect and project manager in the telecommunication and automotive industries. He is on the programme committee of the Apps-To-Automotive conference Esslingen, technical program committee (TPC) member of multiple international conferences and guest editor of the Journal on Mobile Information Systems. He published several papers in international conference proceedings and in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science. He is co-author of several books on mobile software development and computer science and media in Germany. Professor Gerlicher is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the IEEE Consumer Electronics and the IEEE Communications Society. His research interests include integration of consumer electronic devices in vehicles, mobile and embedded software architectures, mobile security, real-time co-operative systems and semantic web and cloud computing platforms. He received his PhD degree in real-time collaboration systems from the London College of Communication, UArts, UK.

Prof. Sabiha Ghellal
Sabiha Ghellal is an assistant professor for user interface and experience Design at the Institute of Applied Science, Stuttgart Media University, Germany. Previously a manager for research and innovation at Sony Europe, she has over 15 years of work experience in the area of commercial entertainment solutions. Her main research interests are transmedia storytelling, experience design, persuasive technology as well as game design. She was a work package leader in two EU funded projects. IPerg an integrated project on pervasive gaming ( http://iperg.sics.se/index.php) and IPCity an integrated project on interaction and presence in urban environments ( http://ipcity.fit.fraunhofer.de/). She has published a number of scientific papers at the CHI and SIGGRAPH conferences. Sabiha Ghellal received a Master of Science from the Open University UK and is currently a PHD student at Folkwang University of Arts.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Arno Hitzges
Prof. Dr. Arno Hitzges is professor for Content-Management-Systems at the Stuttgart Media University since May 2011. He started his career in 1992 at the Fraunhofer IAO where he was responsible for the Information Engineering division. His works were awarded with the Digiglobe, a prize of the german Telekom and the magazine Focus. Before his change to the Media University he managed more than 100 content-management projects with different Microsoft Gold Partners.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Krešimir Vidačković
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Krešimir Vidačković studied Electrical Engineering and Information Technology as well as technically oriented Business Economics at the University of Stuttgart. As a researcher and project manager at Fraunhofer IAO, he was notably active in the fields of Electronic Business and Web Engineering, and completed his PhD at the University of Stuttgart. He then worked at Mackevision Medien Design GmbH in the area of 3D visualization for images, films and interactive applications. Since 2014, he teaches media productions of any kind as well as the corresponding concepts and business models as a Professor for Multimedia Engineering and Design at the HdM. His research focuses on developments methods, standards and automated pipelines for Virtual and Mixed Reality applications in a business and education context.

Prof. Dr. Gottfried Zimmermann
Prof. Dr. Gottfried Zimmermann is professor of mobile user interaction and director of research in usability and accessibility at the Stuttgart Media University, Germany. His main research interest is to make user interfaces personal and responsive to the user's needs and preferences, and the context of use. He is the author of various publications and book chapters in this field, and the editor of the multi-part ISO/IEC standard 24752 on Universal Remote Console. He is a senior ACM member, the vice president of the openURC Alliance, an invited expert on the protocols and formats working group of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the convener of working group 8 of ISO/IEC JTC1 SC35 on user interfaces, member of the Scientific Committee of the International Board for Usability Qualification (iBUQ), and an expert on several DIN working groups on ergonomics and accessibility. Prof. Zimmermann received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Tobias Ableitner
Tobias Ableitner is research associate at the Stuttgart Media University working on his PhD about Interaction techniques for an exoskeleton hand in cooperation with the University Hospital of Tübingen. One of his HCI components are AR-glasses in combination with eye gestures for controlling the exoskeleton hand.

Christophe Strobbe
Christophe Strobbe has been a researcher in ICT accessibility for persons with disabilities since 2001. He has been a participant of the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group (WCAG WG) since March/April 2005 and of the Evaluation and Repair Tools Working Group (ERT WG) since March 2011. He is one of the authors of the Unified Web Evaluation Methodology (UWEM), a methodology for evaluating the conformance of web sites to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. He has recently been active in the European projects USEM (2007-2010), eGovMonet (2008-2010), Stand4All (2009-2010), AEGIS (2008-2012) and SSEDIC. In the AEGIS project, he contributed to (among other things) the Open Accessibility Framework, to the Open Accessibility Framework for Rich Internet Applications and three extensions for OpenOffice.org / LibreOffice Writer: odt2daisy (exporting word processing documents to DAISY), odt2braille (exporting to or printing as Braille) and AccessODF (accessibility evaluation inside a word processor). While working at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (November 2001 - February 2012) he was also a member of the K.U.Leuven Working Group on Digital Accessibility (2007-2012). He is currently active in the EU-funded project Cloud4all.
Lukas Smirek
Lukas Smirek Received his Diploma in Business Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT) (Germany in 2013. During his study time he also spend one year as a Fulbright Scholar at the University Of San Francisco (USF). In his Diploma Theses Lukas Smirek worked on Privacy protecting and security enabling Software Architectures for energy Management date in future Smart Homes and Smart Grids. He continued to work on that Topic at KIT for half a year. Then, he joined the REMEX Research Group at HDM at the beginning of 2014. Now he is working on Accessibility related Issues. Thereby, he focuses on the field of Smart Homes and the development of personalized and adaptive user Interfaces. Lukas Smirek is member of the Technical Committee of the Universal Remote Console (ISO/IEC 24752).
Holger Schmidt
Holger Schmidt is currently researching advanced techniques for adaptive and adaptable user-interfaces for eLearning on the project AMMS (Adaptive Multimedia Systems). Core of this project is the adaptive eLearning environment ALM which serves techniques to use realtime eyetracking for adaptive behavior.
Patrick Münster
Patrick Münster received his diploma degree from the Stuttgart University in automation engineering for his research in development of user-interfaces for adaptition of the human-machine-interface at runtime. Currently he is working on accessibility/usability and gamification of human computer interaction (HCI) for web applications.

Alexander Henka
Alexander Henka received his master degree from the Stuttgart Media University of Media (HdM) in 2011 for his research in tool-chains for mobile application frameworks. His build tool-chain implementation ("espresso") is part for the framework The-M-Project. From 2011-2013, he worked as a research assistant in the degree program "Mobile Media" at the University of Media. During this engagement he was giving lectures on mobile web application development. He is a co-author of a book about standards in the media publication life cycle and wrote about EPUB3. His research interests are in mobile computing, web applications, usability and accessibility. Currently he is working on his doctoral thesis in the field of human computer interaction (HCI) with a special interest in the testing of web applications for accessibility. He is also participating in the EU-funded research projects Cloud4all and Prosperity4all.
Thomas Fankhauser
Thomas Fankhauser received his Bachelor and Master degree in computer science from Stuttgart Media University, Germany. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree at the University of the West of Scotland while working as an academic research assistant at Stuttgart Media University. His research interests include the scalability of web services, software architec- tures and frameworks in cloud computing envi- ronments. Since 2013 he is a student member of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society. He was a Best Poster Award Winner of UWS ICTAC 2013 and has published at the IEEE flagship conference ICC 2014 in Sydney and is author of a book on social phenomena in social networking services. Previously, he worked as a software architect and developer in social web and mobile advertising industries for several years.
Tobias Schneider
Tobias Schneider received his Bachelor and Master degree in computer science from Stuttgart Media University, Germany. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree while working as an academic research assistant at Stuttgart Media University. His research interests include AI Transparency and User Experience in autonomous driving.
