University Green Digital Hub

he main goal of the University Green Digital HUB project is to develop and promote digital, green, and entrepreneurial (DGE) skills among students, staff, and university startups through retraining and continuing education programs for DGE, as well as startup support programs for green and digital innovation. The programs are based on the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) and the European Competence Framework for Sustainability (GreenComp).

University Green Digital HUB will:

• Develop a framework for the digital and green transition based on an analysis of the DGE skills of the project target groups,
• Develop DGE continuing education programs in collaboration with the target groups,
• Develop the DGE Knowledge Factory: a web platform for e-learning, knowledge exchange, and dissemination of project results,
• Develop the Greenpreneur Startup Factory program, a comprehensive startup support system for university startups in the areas of green and digital innovation.

Key project outcomes:

• 60 students participate in the DGE pilot program,
• 100 users of the DGE Knowledge Factory web platform and DGE library,
• 60 participants in the green hackathon,
• 15 university startups participate in the short mixed intensive program,
• 60 participants in the Greenpreneur startup program.

The overall results are the development of DGE skills among students and university staff, and the strengthening of the capacities of higher education institutions to support university startups developing digital and green innovations.
