Talent Akquisition von Generation Y und Z am Beispiel der stoba Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG

This thesis examines the theoretical foundations and practical implications of talent acquisition in a dynamic HR environment. This topic is of particular relevance as the ongoing shortage of skilled labour and the resulting "war for talent" make it more important than ever for companies to attract talent for the long term. To this end, this paper will focus specifically on Generations Y and Z, as they will make up the majority of the future workforce. The paper begins by analyzing the concept of dynamic HR management and its role within the HR value chain. It then analyses the key aspects of recruitment and personnel planning and the importance of a sound personnel strategy for recruitment.

 

The focus is on the strategy for attracting talent, with topics such as employer branding, candidate journey and the challenges for recruiters in the digital age being highlighted. In addition, the corporate context of stoba Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG will be examined in order to gain insights into current recruitment practices and challenges in talent management. The methodology of the study includes the development of hypotheses and the use of a quantitative measuring instrument, the questionnaire. The discussion of the results includes the verification of the hypotheses, the identification of limitations and the derivation of implications for theory and practice. In the conclusion, the results are summarized, the achievement of objectives is reflected upon and an outlook for practice is given. In the end, the aim is to gain knowledge based on sound research methods and offer perspectives for further research opportunities. In addition, the company stoba Präzisionstechnik GmbH & Co. KG is presented with a concept and recommendations.

 

The results of this study emphasize the crucial role of targeted communication in the recruitment of talent by highlighting the relevance of information provision, the influence of family on career choice, the importance of corporate image and the essential promotion of the younger generation. This is done on the basis of a personnel strategy that is aligned with the corporate strategy.
