Emotion Simulation and Android Andrea in the wild
In the talk I will introduce my emotion simulation architecture WASABI and how it was integrated into the chess playing, hybrid robot MARCO. Then, I will present the hardware and software of our recently acquired, android robot "Andrea" and how it was tested in a public museum in Germany. Although the uncanny valley hypothesis would predict negative statements by the visitors, our evaluation did not show this kind of opinion so often. I will finish my presentation with hints on future work with Andrea in the wild.
