In this course students will be introduced to conceptual and technical principles for designing and creating digital screens.

Making a page layout.

- Visual look & feel guides
Part 2: Technical design oriented approach
Gain practical experience on how to to build a simple screen design from scratch using HTML (structure) & CSS (styling).
Learn how to make a page layout.
- Floating Concept
- Introduction to frameworks
Learn how to add text, images, video, social plug-ins.
Learn how to add navigation & interaction to a screen.
- Navigational elements
- Interaction with JavaScript / jQuery
Introduction to “Responsive Design”.
The lectures will be a mix of theoretical parts and many hands-on exercises.
The course will be marked based on the realization of a screen design and the documentation that relates to it.
The lectures and all materials will be mainly in english.
