Wanna travel without leaving the country? Wanna get to know people at HdM with different nationalities and from around the world? Wanna improve your language abilities, without having to take a language course?
When you are interested in foreign countries, different languages and cultures, you do not necessarily have to fly around the world to have the same experience. Being a Buddy makes it possible!
As a Buddy, you have the chance to help international students from around the world get settled in Stuttgart and here at HdM. Take the opportunity!
Your responsibilities include:
· Picking up room keys and (if applicable) sheets at the Filderbahnplatz for the International Student
· Picking up the International Student at the Stuttgart Airport or Stuttgart Train station
· Bring fingerfood for the Welcome Breakfast
· Buy a VVS-Ticket
· Visit the Cashiers office with the International Student
· Visit the Bürgerbüro with the International Student and help them register
· Assist the International student open a bank account at the BW Bank
· Assist with setting up a course schedule
· Assist the with accessing internet (Selfnet, e.V.)
