About the project

Mission:Enterprise supports you in pursuing your dream and organizes entrepreneurship seasonal schools around the globe. It is meant for students of the partner universities with entrepreneurial interests.

Mission:Enterprise aims at creating an international network among the universities to exchange expertise, knowledge and experience. In regular intervals, there will be seasonal schools about entrepreneurship. The participants get the opportunity to develop their own start-up ideas and to run through typical scenarios of a founding process. With the help of eLearning modules, it will be possible for the students to work on the topic even after the seasonal school has ended. 

Seasonal Schools 2021

The aim of the Seasonal Schools is to teach the basics for starting your own business so that you can apply them to your own needs later on. By working with other students from different countries and cultures, you have the chance to create an international network and learn intercultural skills. The working language is English.

 

Planned dates for forthcoming Seasonal Schools in the project Mission:Enterprise:

 

Due to the Corona Pandemic and the resulting travel restrictions, it was decided to schedule the Seasonal School in virtual form for the time being.

 

Online workshops on idea generation will be held on the following days:

• Thursday, 24 June 2021
• Monday, 28 June 2021
• Wednesday, 30 June 2021

! HdM students can earn 2 ECTS credits in the online workshop (module numbers: 221503a | 221506a |368411a)!

 

Please note: There will be another meeting in March 2021 to decide whether it is possible to hold a physical form of the Seasonal School in summer 2021.

 

The application for other seasonal schools in other countries will be launched some months earlier to the starting date. Please visit the website and and the social media channels on facebook and Instagram to keep you updated.

Costs

Participation is free of charge. Additionally included are a Welcome Dinner and a Farewell Dinner. Public transport, meals and everything else you might need have to be paid by yourself.

Application

There are 6 places available for (international) students studying at HdM. A proof of English level B2 is required. Participants must also be enrolled students at the HdM or at one of the partner universities of the project.

Application deadline for HdM students is 30 May 2021.

You have to participate in all events of the Spring School during the whole period and agree to be a buddy for the incoming students.

All other criteria and deadline for applicants from partner universities of HdM can be found on the website.

You have to fill out a general application form with your details (name, age etc.) and a letter of motivation in which the central questions are answered.

Your application will be reviewed by the experts of the HdM Startup Center. Decisions of participation will be given as soon as possible after submission of application.

Credits

You will have an international network and can apply your knowledge about founding and entrepreneurship and consolidate it with the help of the eLearning modules. If the Spring School ends with a term paper, you will receive 4 ECTS on top.
