Data Science and Business Analytics is all about the discovery of unknown correlations in the data inventory of companies in order to gain new knowledge about products, customers and business units.
During this master program, you will be educated as data architects with strategic visions, analytical skills and technical competencies. Additionally, you will be qualified to take over highly demanding projects within the data science and business analytics area.
The didactic blended-learning concept combines on-site seminars with e-learning offers and integrates working experience and knowledge into the program. This gives you the opportunity to gain an internationally approved degree while working at the same time.

Structure

This master program consists of five semesters: In the first four semesters competencies are taught in 12 modules. The master thesis is then written in the fifth semester.
One semester consists of three modules and each of them lasts about two months. One module combines onsite seminars (2-3 days) and online inputs and is finalized with an examination.

Perspective

Data Science and Business Analytics are one of the top topics in the next future. This program addresses business analysts with a first degree in economics, who would like to get a deeper insight into Data Science. On the other side, it addresses professionals with a first degree in computer science, math or engineering, who would like to develop into the business analytics field. This master's program can also be an interesting tool in further developing your skilled employees.

Admission

This program starts in winter semester. Requirements are a first academic degree (diploma or bachelor) with a minimum of 210 ECTS, prove of at least one-year working experience and very good English and German language skills.

Study costs

The study costs for this master program are 4620 EUR per semester excl. administration fee. Further information on this master degree can be found on the website of all further education programs.
