DAAD

The HdM Language Centre offers language tests, which are recognized by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) and other scholarship foundations (Erasmus) for applications abroad. A DAAD Language certificate might be required to give evidence of your language proficiency when applying for studies and scholarships abroad.

It classifies your current level of language competence in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) between level A2 and C2. There are no specific preparation courses. Still, we recommend students to brush up their language skills by attending a language course or through self-study.

The DAAD exam tests your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and takes 30 to 40 minutes.

Students will receive the DAAD Test Results Certificate directly after completion of the test.

DATES and FEES:

Tests for English and Spanish are offered on specific dates during the lecture period.

Please check our calendar for the next dates and register for your test in time according to your deadlines.

A fee of 50 € will be charged for each test. The fee is due to be paid upon registration.

To register please contact the Language Centre at: sprachenzentrum@hdm-stuttgart.de.
