Test of English for International Communication: TOEIC®

The Test Of English for International Communication, TOEIC®, was developed to evaluate and certify the English language proficiency of non native English speakers in the workplace. The TOEIC® is recognized as proof of a person’s English language competence by businesses, universities, technical colleges and business schools worldwide.

 

The TOEIC ® Listening and Reading-Test

The TOEIC ® Listening and Reading test is the most-used English language proficiency test for the assessment of Business English listening and reading skills worldwide.

It is a paper-based Multiple-Choice Test, setting your level according to the CEFR (no Pass-or-Fail-System)

 

Duration: 120 minutes

Registration and fees: a fee is due to be paid upon registration.

Format:

Section I: Listening (45 min)

Section II: Reading (75 min)

 

Results: The test sheets will be evaluated centrally. Approximately 2 weeks after the test, each participant receives:

  • Official Score Report with scaled score
  • Individual analysis of strenghts and weaknesses
  • Correlation table with CEFR mapping
  • Certificate

Collection of the results: only personally at the HdM Language Center (Room 113)
