Lernergebnisse:

Students will develop a good understanding of the historical developments of visual effects. They get to knoe the milestones of technical inventions and their impact on the aestehtics of visual effects. Students will have plenty of opportunity to improve their visual competences, to pervade the complex interactions of visual design, technology, economics and collaboration. In the end of the course small group of students conduct their own research project on a specific, well defined topic on visual effects which is guided und supervised during the seminar. They develop their skills in scientific research methods, evaluation and discussion. They learn to study in groups, develop their social skills and deepen their understanding of the subject matter.
