119320a User Interface Design Please only register for this lecture if you already attended the UID (EDV=119320a) and wish to further develop your experience design skills. You will be asked to apply skills obtained at UID independently

Lernergebnisse:

In this seminar, students will build upon the theories learned as part of the user interface design seminar and further focus on designing experience based on human needs. Students will learn how to design more complex systems (such as VR, AR or Tangible interfaces) for specific human needs such as e.g. the hedonic quality of identification or design for intrinsic motivation. Students will apply a HCD (Human Centered Design) for the purpose of locking for Empirical evidence for specific design goals and thus focus on how to enhance user satisfaction. In teams of 2-5 students, students will design a video prototype for specific user needs. In a short paper, students will discuss, evaluate and critically reflect upon the efficiency of the chosen design components, tools and methods using an ACM documentation format.
