Within this course, students will acquire knowledge in the field of strategic design, a design discipline that serves to develop innovative and relevant solutions for socially relevant questions. A central aim of the course is here to acquaint students with the methods and the technics that are important for strategic design: strategic thinking, design thinking and design doing. Especially design thinking, as a combination of mindset, innovation process and collection of methods, creates the conditions for people to jointly develop technically feasible, profitable and user-relevant solutions and will play a central role in course.

The aim of this course is to deal more deeply with the Metaversum design trend and, based on this knowledge, to conceive, design and, if necessary, implement a prototype of your own virtual presence. The focus of the course is on the conception and design of a virtual presence and less on its technical implementation. The framework topic under which the individual project work is carried out is: Virtual University
