Teaching/Learning Methodology: Interactive Lecture

Learning Outcomes: Understanding the effects of and expanding creative filmmaking choices and techniques for narrative storytelling.

This module will explore the filmmaker’s pallets, the audio visual language elements that help us transform the story from script to screen.

Working on the skills of cinematography, sound, editing, production design, the students will find examples for said skills, to understand how and why creative choices are made on existing films and videos.

Practical tasks allows the students to apply and experiment with their creative choices with regards to story and storytelling, based on the skills and knowledge acquired.
