English Title: 111820a Binding and Finishing + TP: Binding and Finishing
English Abstract: The course will take our students through a comprehensive exploration of the world of binding and finishing. Most major post press processes will be discussed on two levels: First, each process will be examined within the context of the printing industry so students can make useful recommendations. Viewed as part of a greater whole, each process will fit in the bigger picture of the graphic arts industry. Second, the minutiae of each, such as communication, layouts, and manufacturing performance expectations, will be explained so our students can more effectively manage their post press projects. The entire course will deal with samples that will help students to understand the specifics of certain binding and finishing methods
