Beschreibung:	Contents of course: Objective of the course is a thorough understanding of 4C and multicolor color management with an emphasis on digital packaging printing. Two 4C workflows and a 6C workflow for the HP Indigo press are implemented and tested in a series of experiments and small projects. The color management software includes Harlequin, ColorLogic, and Gmg OpenColor and ColorServer. By designing test charts with RGB images and Pantone colors that lie outside the 4C color gamut the different color workflows are compared by measurements and visual inspection. For comparison test charts are also printed on a 10 color Epson proof printer. Finally, every student designs, prints and finishes a folding box which contains some highly saturated Pantone colors.
