Historische, inhaltliche und stilistische Aspekte eines audiovisuellen Mediums in Zusammenhang mit seinem institutionellen, wirtschaftlichen, kulturellen und politischen Kontext; vertiefte, exemplarische Untersuchung eines Teilgebiets der Medien (wechselnde Themen möglich); Analyse exemplarischer Medienprodukte in Hinblick auf ästhetische Form, intertextuelle Bezüge, Wirkung und Rezeption sowie kulturelle Bedeutung; medientheoretische Ansätze. Contents: the investigation of aspects of history, style, and content of audiovisual media in connection with their institutional, economical, cultural, and political contexts; in-depth studies of a particular form or area of media (specific topics vary from semester to semester); analysis of individual media products in terms of their contents, formal and stylistic qualities, intertextual relationships, effects or reception, and cultural meaning; application of theoretical approaches to media. |
