Beschreibung: Modul 180412 Advanced Typography contains one teaching course (180412 Advanced Typography). This course provides students with the acquirement of differentiated skills in all matters of using typography in a professional way. Students know the vocabulary and technical terms of typography and will be able to use different kind of typography in an academic and as well experimental way to design professional individual logotypes for products and/or different kinds of media as i.e. brochures, documentations, posters etc.

Advanced Typography contains the following issues:
· Mikro- and Makrotypography
· Vocabulary of typographical terms
· Corporate Typography
· Design of different media by using professional fonts
· Design of wordmarks and logotypes
· Design of individual fonts
· Knowledge of relevant typographers
