The focus of the Creative Media Summer School 2021 at St. Pölten Uiversity of Applied Sciences is on artistic practice, creative processes, technical implementation and theoretical reflection on various topics centered around media & digital technologies. Participants have the opportunity to obtain and deepen their knowledge and skills in the course of workshops and discussions. Internationally renowned speakers and workshop leaders ensure high-quality education and up-to-date information. (Online) Workshops, face-to-face conversations with artists and researchers as well as networking with like-minded people are on the agenda.

ARTEVELDEHOGESCHOOL, Ghent, Belgium
Dates: Postponed to June 2021. Whether this programme will take place in June 2021 depends on the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. We expect a decision by March 2021.
"The Honours Class in Flexible Packaging" aims at highlighting the production of packaging, mainly focusing on the prepress and file handling related topics. The Graphical and Digital Media department of Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Ghent organizes this class in cooperation with Esko, a global supplier of integrated solutions for the packaging and label, sign, display, commercial printing and publishing industries.
The Honours Class trains talented students in the academic year prior to graduation in examining different packages and downloading template files to produce their personal designs. Moreover, a visit to Drupa as well as social events in Ghent are foreseen. After successful participation in the Honours Class, students will receive a certificate and earn 9 ECTS.

The Summer Class 3D MODELING AND 3D PRINTING 2020 organized by Artevelde University of Applied Sciences (Department of Graphic and Digital Media) offers students insights into different 3D printing techniques and materials, as well as in 3D modeling software. Students will learn to create, to scan and print 3 D models with the help of different techniques and video tutorials.

Tallin Winter School 2021 offers several courses online courses with real-time video lessons. The course program includes language classes in Estonian, English and Russian as well as in ICT, Design and Engineering. The “Season’s school” offers an international educational programme of 1-3 weeks in the fields of Design, Business, Economics and Social Technologies. Please see the course list here.
HdM students and staff interested in the Season’s School can work out a joint program with St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. Project proposals can be submitted no later than 6 weeks before the start of the Season’s School to international.sutd@gmail.com.
The extent of the program can vary from 2 to 10 ECTS credits. The program can include lectures and practical classes, as well as activities related to visiting the enterprises and organizations in the chosen area of training, and cultural program.
The number of students in a group should not be less than 5 and no more than 25.
Since the exchange project is envisaged to take place onsite, dates of the Season’s School are flexible. Please consider that a visit at St. Peterburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design will only be possible when international travelling is safe again.

The Winter School on Technology Entrepreneurship will show participants the way how to commercialize their ideas by guiding them through the processes of ideation, investigating the market, raising finance and presenting their ideas. Participants go through the full cycle of state of the art innovation methods (co-creation, design thinking, business modelling) to develop their innovations and inspire their entrepreneurial mindset. The Winter School is open to Bachelor and Master students.
Online lectures will be delivered synchronized as live talk with professors and groupmates. Records of classes will be available on SPbPU platform for 1 month after the course end. All classes and extracurricular activities are carried out in English. Knowledge of the Russian language is not required.

Im Rahmen der Sommerstudienprogramme USA 2021 vergibt die Deutsch-Amerikanische Fulbright Kommission Vollstipendien an Bachor-Studierende (Vollzeit) an nicht-dualen Fachhochschulen. Das Kurzzeitprogramm „Communicating Across Disciplines: New Approaches for Applied Sciences“ an der Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia vom 19. Juli bis 14. August 2021 bietet Studierenden eine Vertiefung und Erweiterung der kommunikativen, insbesondere rhetorischen Kompetenzen, sowie Analyse und Lösung komplexer, oft interdisziplinärer Sachverhalte.
Bachelor-Studierende der Ingenieurwissenschaften und technischer Studienfächer, Gesundheitswissenschaften, Wirtschafts- und Sozialwissenschaften sowie Informations- und Medienwissenschaften können sich bis zum 27. Januar 2021 bewerben.
